STEPHEN W. HILTZ, M.D.
Dr Stephen W. Hiltz is a native of Northern
Kentucky and continues to reside here with his family.
He obtained his medical degree at the University of Kentucky ,
College of Medicine in 1975.
From 1978 to 1980 Dr Hiltz served as Internist and Chief of
the Department of Internal Medicine at U.S. Lyster Army Hospital in Ft.
Rucker , Alabama .
In 1982, after completion of his internship, residency and
fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit , MI he established
Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates, a single specialty
Gastroenterology practice in Northern Kentucky .
He is board certified by The American Board of
Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr Hiltz is affiliated with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital all located in Northern Kentucky .
He has served on many committees associated with Tri-State
Digestive Disorder Center , ASC, as well as area hospitals and local
communities. Since 1986 Dr Hiltz has been Chairman of the Kenton County
Board of Health as well as a Board Member and Chairman of The Northern
Kentucky Independent District Board of Health. He has served on the
Executive Committee of St Elizabeth Medical Center since 2002.
Dr Hiltz is a member of several professional societies. He is
a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and has membership
with both The American & Kentucky Societies for Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association.
In May of 2003, in addition to his medical degrees, Dr Hiltz
obtained his executive M.B.A. from Xavier University as well as an
Academic Achievement Award.
ROSS MCHENRY, M.D
Dr Ross McHenry is a native of Cincinnati , Ohio
. He and his family are presently residing in Northern Kentucky .
Dr McHenry obtained his medical degree at The University of
Cincinnati in 1981.
In July 1986 after completing his internship, residency and
fellowship at Indiana University Medical Center he joined the practice
of Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates.
He is board certified by The American Board of
Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr McHenry is affiliated with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital all located in Northern Kentucky .
Dr McHenry has served on many committees associated with
Tri-State Digestive Disorder Center as well as area hospitals and local
communities including The Greater Cincinnati Health Improvement
Collaborative. In 1992 he served as the President of the Medical Staff
at St Luke Hospital. He is the current Medical Director of Tri-State
Digestive Disorder Center .
His membership in professional societies includes The American
Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians,
American Medical Association, American Gastroenterological Association,
Gastrointestinal Videoendoscopy Association of America and is a fellow
of the American College of Gastroenterology.
GREGORY L. SALZMAN, M.D.
Dr Salzman is a native of New York , was raised
in Columbus , Ohio . He and his family currently reside in Northern
Kentucky .
He obtained his medical degree from The Ohio State University
in 1984.
In July 1989 Dr Salzman joined the practice of Tri-State
Gastroenterology Associates after completing his internship, residency
and fellowship at The Ohio State University Hospitals.
He is board certified by the American Board of
Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He is affiliated with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and Health
South Rehabilitation Hospital all located in Northern Kentucky .
Dr Salzman has served on many committees associated with
Tri-State Digestive Disorder Center as well as area hospitals and local
communities. In 1994 he served as President of the Medical Staff at St
Elizabeth Medical Center.
His membership in professional societies includes The American
Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal Videoendoscopy Association of America,
and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is also a member of
Alpha Omega Alpha.
DANIEL G. FAGEL, M.D.
Dr Fagel is a native of Cincinnati , Ohio . He
is currently residing in Northern Kentucky with his family.
Dr Fagel obtained his medical license in 1985 from the
University of Cincinnati .
In July 1991 after completing his internship, residency and
fellowship at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics he joined
the practice of Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates.
He is board certified by The American Board of
Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has a
special interest in liver disease.
His hospital affiliations include St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital all located in Northern Kentucky .
He has served on many committees associated with Tri-State
Digestive Disorder Center as well area hospital and local communities.
He serves on St Elizabeth Medical Center Review Committee for Internal
Medicine, the St Elizabeth Medical Center Residency Committee and is a
Northern Kentucky delegate for the Kentucky Medical Association. From
1996-1997 he was the President of the Northern Kentucky Medical
Society. Dr Fagel was named Teacher of the Year for St Elizabeth
Medical Center Family Practice Center for the years 1996-1997,
1999-2000 and 2001-2002
Dr Fagel belongs to many professional societies including
American Gastroenterological Association, Gastrointestinal
Videoendoscopy Association of America, American Society of
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
MICHAEL E. JONES, M.D.
Dr Jones is a native of Kansas City , Missouri .
He and his family reside in Northern Kentucky .
Dr Jones obtained his medical degree in 1997 from the
University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia Missouri .
In 2003, after completing his internship, residency and
fellowship at University of Kentucky Medical Center he began practicing
with Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates.
He is board certified by the American Board of
Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Jones has affiliations with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital .
During his internship, residency and fellowship Dr Jones
received many honors. In 1998 he was named "Outstanding Intern Teacher"
and received the "Chief Resident's Outstanding Intern Award" at the
University of Kentucky Medical Center. In 1999 received "Resident
Research Award at the University of Kentucky .
Dr Jones is a member of many professional societies including
American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Crohn's and Colitis
Foundation, American College of Gastroenterology and American
Gastroenterological Association
KARLINA M. PATTON, M.D.
Dr. Karlina Patton is a native of Northern
Kentucky , where she and her husband, Greg continue to reside.
Dr Patton obtained her medical degree at The University of
Cincinnati in 1998.
In July 2004 after completing her internship, residency and
fellowship at The University of Cincinnati, she joined the practice of
Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates.
She is board certified by The American Board of
Gastroenterology and The American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr Patton is affiliated with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital in Northern Kentucky .
During her medical school, residency, internship and
fellowship, Dr Patton received many honors including ACP/ASIM Poster
Winner and The Associates Clinical Vignette Competition. She was
involved in many activities including Medical Student
Association-Historian, Universal Precautions Workshop Instructor and
Women in Medicine.
Her membership in professional societies include The American
College of Physicians , American Society of Internal Medicine, American
Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American
Gastroenterological Association and The American Society of
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
GRETA SZABO, M.D.
Dr. Greta Szabo is a native of Carei, Satu Mare, Romania. She has dual
citizenship from
Romania and the United States of America. She resides in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
Dr. Szabo obtained her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati
in 2000.
In July 2006, after completing her internship, residency and fellowship
at the University of Cincinnati, she joined the practice of Tri-State
Gastroenterology Associates.
She is board certified by The American Board of
Gastroenterology and The American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Szabo is affiliated with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly
St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and
HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Northern Kentucky.
While attending medical school at the University of Cincinnati, she was
the AGA/Wyeth-Ayerst Resident and Fellows Program recipient in 2000.
Her membership in professional societies include the American Medical
Association and the American Gastroenterological Association.
KEVIN MOREMAN, M.D.
Dr. Kevin Moreman is a native of Elizabethtown, Ky. He and his family now reside in Northern Kentucky.
Dr. Moreman obtained his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2002. He completed his internship and residency in 2005 at the University of Kentucky and in 2008 completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Moreman is affiliated with St Elizabeth Healthcare (formerly St Elizabeth Medical Centers and the St Luke Hospitals) and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hostpital in Northern Kentucky.
He is board certified by The American Board of
Gastroenterology and The American Board of Internal Medicine.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Amercian Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
